There is a difference between the chllenges of life and the challenges of a particular society, I guess. Most societies are actually living like parasites on earth and in fact most of them have removed any possibility for the individual to make their own living, naturally, in harmony with ALL beings and so forced everybody in such kind of things like "jobs", you see? Sure, that does not neccessairily mean you cannot be free, but it can take a hard time for somebody.
